We now offer a treatment to shed stubborn fat pockets without the need for surgery. How? High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)!
HIFU uses heat generated through ultrasound which is able to penetrate down to your fat cells in the subcutaneous layer of your skin. This heat causes your fat cells to loosen up and shrink until your body’s natural
detoxifying system can excrete it. As your body has to process the fat, the results can take up to 12 weeks to show the full effect of the treatment.
There is no downtime to these treatments, which means you can return to your everyday life straight after!
HIFU Technology
At City Laser Clinic, we use the medical grade & TGA-approved Ulfit HIFU technology. We have chosen this device as it allows us to use Micro Focused Ultrasound AND Macro Focused Circular Ultrasound (7D HIFU).
By using Macro & Micro focused ultrasound, we are able to significantly melt away any stubborn fat, contour the skin, AND tighten the skin. This is important during fat loss as you do not want to be left with excess ‘loose’ skin when the fat is gone.
Downtime
No downtime, however you may notice slight bruising for a few days post treatment and tenderness to soft touch for 1-30 days.
