Cosmetic injectables are the only way to defy the signs of aging in an instance.
At City Laser Clinic, we have a range of options for refining fine lines & wrinkles and plumping the skin. However with most of our options, we can only offer gradual results over a course of treatments. Whereas if you’re after an instant result, anti-wrinkle injections and fillers are your perfect solution. Anti-wrinkle injections and fillers will instantly refine your fine lines & wrinkles, enhance your features, and can even out any asymmetry.
What’s the difference?
Many people often confuse anti-wrinkle injections with fillers, so let us explain!
Anti-wrinkle injections are a muscle relaxant that is injected into the muscles responsible for causing your fine lines and wrinkles. It’s a rapid, yet effective, method to reduce and prevent fine lines & wrinkles.
On the other hand, fillers aim to enhance features by injecting hyaluronic acid into the dermal layer of the skin. This will plump the area and (as the name implies) ‘fill’ the skin in. Fillers are ideal for deeper wrinkles, sagging skin, and areas you’d prefer to appear larger (such as lips).
Both options are safe & effective solutions. However we know it can be difficult to figure out what’s best for you. Luckily our experienced doctor will be able to answer all of your questions and explain exactly what’s best for you and your skin concerns in your initial consultation.
Cosmetic Injectables Treatment
Anti-wrinkle injections are a relatively recent cosmetic procedure, however they have been used for medical purposes for approximately 30 years. It is a neurotoxin commonly found within a form of bacteria. This isn’t dangerous to our body as our lymphatic system will process and excrete the injection naturally through our lymph nodes. Although this sounds intense, it’s a similar process to what happens while fighting the common cold.
Fillers are particularly safe as the solution is composed of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is naturally found in our skin (and other living things including plants) and injected into the deeper layer of the skin. We then excrete this in the way. As a bonus, this ultra-hydrating solution will give the skin a natural glow and improve hydration levels.
Please note: if you are receiving laser hair removal or laser rejuvenation treatments, avoid treatment in the areas within two weeks post-injectables.
